Product for sale at the Mill Market has been grown, raised or crafted by some of Northern Ontario’s finest farmers, fishermen, and artisans. The Mill Market is a place to find culinary delights, hand-made treasures, and smiling faces.
In addition to being a healthy food hub and artisan fair, the Mill Market features live entertainment weekly. Mill Market also offers educational programming and hosts events such as the Maple Syrup Festival, Moonlight Markets, and the Apple Festival. Cultivating Economic Growth
The re-purposed former Municipal Fish Hatchery building is now used as the primary gathering place for Mill Market events. Using this space as a regional food hub and farmer’s Market is an example of the spirit of resourcefulness and dedication to sustainable development in the Soo community.
Mill Market connects Northern Ontario farmers and craftsmen to local consumers, strengthening the local economy and nurturing healthy outlying communities. The Mill Market is welcoming to hard working vendors and community groups that join their vendor community.
Mill Market’s is open durings its summer hours from May 24, 2017 – October 11, 2017. Stop by the Market on Wednesdays at 12pm – 4pm and on Saturdays at 8am – 2pm to pick up some amazing artisanal food products, fresh picked veggies and fruit, and hand crafted treasures!
