With time whizzing by so quickly for most of us, it’s nice to have a place to relax, enjoy local photography, local smiles, and best of all, delicious meals made with locally sourced ingredients.

“To provide great food always.” Mission accomplished for Jane McGoldrick, owner of the clean-lined, casual JCaroline’s.  By oneself, with friends or the whole family, JCaroline’s promises all comers a hearty meal.
The restaurant serves up an appetizing, high-quality eating experience at an affordable price. Tasty offerings such as braised short rib poutine, tempura fish tacos, benny sandwich and so much more on their mouth-watering menus! keep their guests coming back. And a valued guest is what you are at JCaroline’s.
The restaurant is lovingly named after Jane’s grandmother, Caroline, who instilled the love of the art of cooking in her granddaughter, and we’re all the luckier for it. From her grandmother, Jane learned to prepare recipes she excels at providing today.

Perfectly located in the center of downtown, JCaroline’s is close to the main sights the city has to offer and a short distance from the beautiful waterfront boardwalk, close enough to hear the boats passing. Whether visitor or Saultite, this place is a must try! Jane and her crew believe in giving back to the community she was raised in and show it by their involvement in local charity events. She was gone a long time traveling the world, experiencing different cultures and foods but Jane is back in her home town and cooking up her food her way. As she puts it, comfort food with a Northern twist.

“Downtown is the heart of the community, it shows off what makes our community, our city unique. It is our heartbeat.” – Jane McGoldrick
